An exciting opportunity to establish a Highland Screen Network to add to A Cinema Near You’s portfolio of networks across Scotland. The post will enhance the offer of The Touring Network’s membership, which exists to empower and resource communities to host remarkable live events across rural Scotland.
Working closely with a working group made up of The Touring Network and Regional Screen Scotland, you will be responsible for formally establishing a Highland Film Network, responding to survey results, developing a framework, resources, services and information exchange events.
This is a six-month fixed term post, funded by Regional Screen Scotland until April 2022.

Fee: £5400 + reasonable expenses (fee based on daily rate of £150)
Scope: 36 days over 6 months
Key Objectives
- Formally establish a Highland Screen Network, responding to the survey results, developing a framework, resources, services and information exchange events to meet needs.
- Explore the potential for, and level of interest in, a Highland Screen Forum which would include all current film exhibitors in the region.
